Last year’s recommended “Common Read” from the UUA was “Justice on Earth: People of Faith Working at the Intersections of Race, Class, and the Environment.” We will read and discuss this collection of essays in a group facilitated by Rev. Jim and Ann Trondle-Price, on three consecutive Wednesday evenings: Sept. 11, 18, and 25, at 7:00 p.m. at Sunnyhill. The book provides analysis of the environmental crisis, revealing ways that capitalism, white supremacy, patriarchy, and other systems of oppression intersect with and contribute to ecological devastation. For more information, and to sign up, please contact Rev. Jim at minister@sunnyhill.org.
