The Caring Committee acknowledges the joys and sorrows of the congregation through cards, calls, personal visits, and other feedback. It serves as a communication link between the congregation and members who have special needs or challenges. The Committee coordinates short-term help that may include visits, meal preparation, transportation, domestic chores, childcare, and shopping. As needed, the Committee makes referrals to the minister or social services providers. The Caring Committee also manages hospitality for memorial services.
